✮No drawing skills or experience necessary! ✮

This workshop is open to everyone, whether you're a seasoned writer or just beginning. The aim of this workshop is to use drawing as a tool to inform and expand your writing practice, free your mind and generate fresh ideas! You won't be asked to share anything you create during the workshop so just sit back, relax and play on the page!

Join us and explore how drawing exercises can help beat writer's block, unlock creativity, and get those words really flowing. Spark new perspectives, ideas and stories with a mix of drawing and writing exercises, along with relaxed discussions in the warm welcoming atmosphere WLAG is famous for!

We'll explore automatic drawing methods inspired by Surrealists like Hilma af Klint, André Masson, and Joan Miró, focusing on how these artists allowed their unconscious minds to guide their creative process. Through guided prompts, learn how to incorporate these creative techniques into your writing routine too, allowing for a much more fun and fluid creative process.
